Heinz Chapel: Jackie and Patrick

I had the pleasure of shooting Jackie and Patrick’s engagement about a year ago, and today was their wedding day. I remember coming up the Sheraton elevator wondering where does the time go? Jackie looked radiant, getting dressed alongside her mothers and bridesmaids. Although she was calm throughout the morning, you could tell she couldn’t wait to meet Patrick, the man with whom she would be spending the rest of her life. While we were on the way to the chapel, it seemed that Mother Nature did an about-face as clouds moved a bit to the right to make sure not to rain on the couple’s parade. The ceremony, which was housed in Heinz Chapel, was a sweet and sincere procession. After a few photos, we made our way back to the Sheraton, where Penn State and Pitt alumni came together to dance the night away.
