“While many people are OK with taking casual snapshots at a rehearsal dinner, It was really important to us to have professional photography at this event since it was the only intimate setting in which we could spend time with the friends and family in our wedding party. We were so pleased that Sean Means was available to shoot for us that evening. We were impressed with the quality of his work that we saw on his website, and he did not disappoint the evening of our event. We discussed our preferences for the evening in advance (e.g., candid shots that followed a timeline of the event) and on the night of the event, Sean took control. He arrived at the venue early to check the lighting and photograph the venue and place settings. When we arrived he faded into the background to work his magic while we enjoyed our evening. Within a week of the event, he produced a beautiful online album that had an amazing combination of artistry (e.g., beautiful photo finishes in sepia, color and black and white) and documentary style (e.g., timeline of events). Everyone in our party was captured and we can look back now and remember nearly every detail of our special evening thanks to Sean’s outstanding work! We can’t say enough about Sean’s professionalism, high quality work and eye for beauty. We were so pleased that a year later when it was time for my mother’s retirement party, we again hired Sean to photograph that event—and we were equally pleased with his work! Using his photographs, we created a wonderful memorial album that means so much to my mother and our family.
