Washington's Landing and Mount Washington: Elizabeth and Adam

After a bit of weather delays, I had the chance to rendezvous with Adam and Elizabeth. The colleagues turned couple had an organic chemistry that was simply undeinable. Reminiscing about their earlier days together, Elizabeth’s smile began to extend, and her eyes found Adam’s, she honestly couldn’t have foreseen things going so well. She felt so lucky to have found him. Adam knew early on that she could be the one he’d spend the rest of his life with. We talked about their shared affection for Millie’s Ice Cream, their first Pittsburgh Steeler’s game and their devotion to family. Elizabeth met Adam’s parents after a few dates and they hit it off from the start. As she continued to reflect, her grin returned, accompanied by a glow. As she talked about Adam’s nieces, it was easy to tell they had become a big part of her life.

Adam proposed on a Washington’s Landing trail, the same trail we walked today. Elizabeth, not usually one for surprises, couldn’t have been happier for this one. As he retraced the timeline, her grin returned, organically and on queue. After leaving the island we made our way up Mount Washington. Although a few showers rolled in from the east, nothing could wash away the shared enthusiasm they had for one another. Thanks for letting me tag along today, I wish you both good times in the next chapters of your life.

Best Wishes,
-Sean
