Every love story begins somewhere, and Dillan and Mya’s began with a simple invitation from a mutual friend. What was meant to be a group hangout turned into something much more meaningful.
Their first date was wonderfully untraditional. They wandered through Petland, laughing at the puppies and learning little pieces of each other’s personalities, then grabbed Chick-fil-A and talked like they had known one another for years. It was easy. It was natural. And neither wanted the day to end. From that moment, they were rarely apart.
Life unfolded quickly as their connection deepened. They finished college, celebrating new beginnings and new responsibilities. Mya stepped confidently into her career while Dillan committed himself to the rigorous training at the State Police Academy. The long days and challenges only pushed them closer, giving them an even stronger appreciation for each other’s strength and dedication.
After Dillan graduated, they moved into their first townhouse, grateful to build a space that felt like theirs. A year later, they upgraded to a different townhouse and welcomed Apollo, their energetic and beloved puppy, who instantly became the heart of their daily routine.
On June 23, 2024, after years of memories, change, growth, and quiet moments that solidified their bond, Dillan asked the question everyone had known was coming. Mya said yes, and just like that, a new chapter began.
The months that followed were beautifully chaotic. Between seating charts, vendor meetings, and color palettes, they also bought their very first home. It was a milestone that symbolized everything they had worked for together: commitment, patience, and a shared vision for the future.
As their wedding day approached, Dillan and Mya carried deep gratitude for the people who had helped to shape their journey. Family and friends have stood by them through every chapter, cheering them on, offering advice, and providing support whenever needed.
This is only the beginning of a lifetime they cannot wait to share.
