The Mansion on 5th: Lauran and Dan

Nobody could blame Lauren’s father for being a bit introspective on his daughter’s wedding day. Dads do that. They remember when their little girl was well, just a little girl. Lauren’s dad spoke about his daughter to the wedding guests assembled at The Long Vue club in Penn Hills, PA. He recalled watching her compete in swim meets when she was a child. She eventually swam for the team at Allderdice High School, in the city. The couple had pre-ceremony photos taken at The Mansions Hotel on 5th Avenue in Shadyside. I teamed up with Kate for this event which included many shots of the couple inside the beautifully stone crafted Long Vue Club exterior. The live band at the reception kept the tempo high. Its been a long time since Lauren’s competitive swimming days. But when the starting gun went off on this wedding day, her and Dan dove right in and made it to the finish line in style.
