Patrick and Arlan met when they were both college professors, tasked with teaching their students the applicable curriculum of a given semester. Little did they know they would acquire some valuable knowledge about each other over the course of time. A romance blossomed and came into full bloom at The James Gallery in Pittsburgh’s West End, host to the event. An awesome family picture was the best exhibit on display at this gala. Arlan, now a book shop owner, sported a Cheshire-cat grin the entire day. After the festivities, guests escorted the couple out into the night, under a bridge of hand-held sparklers. A guitar-playing duo joined them and provided a serenade as they walked to The Point for some private moments. These two personify the old adage that you can learn something new every day.
