Life can seem like a puzzle at times, tough to navigate or find the right fit. However, when you make such a connection, it’s close: magnetic, easily sustainable because it’s a welcomed connection and unbreakable because it’s bound by the heart. The bonding of this connection was witnessed in front of a quaint yet close-knit group of friends and family under the roof of St. Mary’s Church in Sharpsburg. There they watched as the two shared vows, snuck subtle peaks of the other until the ceremony’s end where they celebrated the kiss they’d waited a lifetime to embrace. From there we made our way to Mount Washington, the proper destination to reminisce because this is where the two said “I love you” for the first of many times. Moving from The Mountain, we made our way to the Botanical Gardens. There the couple celebrated with college and high school friends as well as family. Speeches were given by roommates and cake was cut without much of a mess. The night couldn’t have gone better, cheers to Emily and Mike: once two pieces, now just one.
